Lighting for product videos on a small budget
Larger products, flat lays and short videos need more than a light box. Two LED panels usually do the job.
A two-light setup
- Key light: one panel at about 45° to the product, slightly above it.
- Fill light: a second panel on the other side, dimmer, to soften shadows.

Tips
- Turn off ceiling lights so colours stay consistent.
- Set both lights to the same colour temperature.
- For video, lock focus and exposure on your phone before you press record.
