Packing station checklist for a one-person store
A tidy packing station saves minutes on every order, which adds up fast during a sale.
The checklist
- Label printer for 4×6 labels: Rollo thermal label printer.
- Labels, with a spare stack: Rollo 4×6 fan-fold thermal labels.
- Postal scale to weigh before buying postage: DYMO M10.
- Boxes and mailers in your two or three most-used sizes.
- Tape gun, padding and a pen.
- Packing slips or thank-you cards, if you include them.
Layout tips
Keep the flow in one direction: product in, pack, weigh, label, out. Put the printer and scale next to each other so the label is ready when the box is sealed.
